Internships with IRCNoCo

Are you interested in interning with the Immigrant and Refugee Center of Northern Colorado? We have several different internship opportunities available for people over the age of 17. Our internships vary depending on the interests and skills of the intern candidate, but these internships may include:

  • Calling, meeting with, communicating with clients to help them register for classes, do pre/post testing, and to help with their class attendance 

  • Assisting in an ESL class

  • Helping in our childcare program, Little Learners

  • Assisting community navigators to help find community resources for clients

  • Designing media and announcements for programming at IRCNoCo

  • Advocating for clients in many different settings

What we are looking for in potential interns:

  • People over the age of 17

  • People interested in and passionate about working in the immigrant and refugee community

  • Ability to communicate in more than one language (preferred but not required)

  • Interns who are self motivated, organized, and reliable.
