Our classes are offered onsite and online mornings, afternoons, and evenings. We offer a hybrid system combining both face-to-face and online learning.

The first step to signing up for classes is to make an appointment with an IRC staff member who will register you, assess your needs, and assist you in determining what classes to take.

Classes

Citizenship Classes
Separate courses offered in English and Spanish for beginners and advanced learners that teach step-by-step how to obtain U.S. citizenship—application guidance, civics and interview practice—with ongoing support and one‑on‑one mentorship.

Little Learners
Little Learners gently bridges guardian care and school for children 6 months–5 years, offering a nurturing, culturally responsive, multicultural environment that supports age‑appropriate social and language development—especially welcoming immigrant and refugee families.

English Classes
Literacy classes for adults building foundational reading and writing. Low and intermediate courses focused on conversation, grammar, vocabulary, and everyday English for work, school, and community.
Enrichment classes for advanced students in developing academic, professional, and civic language skills.
Learner-centered instruction with culturally responsive materials, small-group practice, ongoing assessment, individualized support. We. use Intercambio Curriculum.

Digital Classes
Practical classes based on the North Star Curriculum teaching essential digital skills—using WhatsApp and Google tools, safe internet navigation, spotting scams, and creating digital stories—focused on confidence, privacy, and everyday tech use.
