Opportunities for Volunteering

There are many different positions you can volunteer for with IRCNoCo. Listed below are some descriptions of those positions that will assist you in the volunteer application form further down the page. Volunteers for Little Learners should be willing to commit to at least one day per week for the semester. Volunteers interested in working in the adult classes as an ESL classroom assistant also need to be able to commit to at least one class time per week, for the entire semester. If you need a flexible volunteer role or fewer volunteer hour needs, please consider helping with the Food Truck option below.

After reading about the volunteer opportunities below, we ask that you fill out the application so that we can contact you. Your next step will be to attend one of our orientations. After the orientation, we will ask you to do a background check (link below) before placing you on the volunteer schedule. Otherwise, please feel free to email our Volunteer Coordinator Martha at volunteer@ircnoco.org with any questions.

Additional language skills are helpful. Volunteers should commit to being there from 9:30am–11:30. Groups of volunteers can come together, but should contact lethompson18@gmail.com to sign up beforehand.
